The 23rd of September 2015 I’ve participated at the Summit on the Future of Europe, an initiative of Harvard University’s Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES).
The inaugural Summit—launched in 2014 with the support of the Berggruen Institute on Governance and the WorldPost—aimed at convening scholars and public leaders at Harvard in order to deepen the debate on critical challenges facing Europe, as well as generate ideas that support effective policy responses. It brought together eminent practitioners of public policy including Carl Bildt, Mario Monti, and Vuk Jeremić, as well as distinguished academics including Joseph Nye, Mark Blyth, Richard Cooper and Niall Ferguson among others.
The 2015 Summit was made possible through a partnership between CES and the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD). This summit examine the historic confluence of challenges posed by the economic and refugee crises in Europe.
I’ve participated in the panel entitled Understanding Developments in Europe’s Southern Neighborhood chaired by
Melani Cammett, Professor of Government, Harvard University and with Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Luís Amado and Hedi Larbi.
